In the PSA annual meeting, Dr. Felipe Mendy, veterinarian at IFTA USA, will present the conference ‘Prevention of coccidiosis and necrotic enteritis in broilers by dietary supplementation of two proprietary plant-based products’. The presentation will take place on July 13, 2022, at 10:45 a.m. (local time).
In the AAAP annual meeting the conference will be ‘Natural prevention of coccidiosis and necrotic enteritis in experimentally infected broilers and gene expression analysis in intestinal tissue samples’. In this case the conference will take place on July 31, 2022, at 8:15 a.m. (local time).
Both conferences will deal about the effect of Alquernat Coneb and Alquermold Natural, both products developed by Biovet S.A., in order to prevent Eimeria and Clostridium Perfringens challenges in broilers farms.
Coccidiosis and necrotic enteritis are two of the most prevalent diseases that affect poultry production and cause significant economic losses.
Alquernat Coneb, based on intestinal optimizer and conditioner pronutrients, stimulate the local immune system of the digestive tract. On the other hand, Alquermold Natural, product based on cimenol ring and acid citric, is highly effective as a microbiocide, allowing it to control outbreaks of Clostridium perfringens that cause an imbalance in the intestinal microbiota of chickens.
Both products have been found to be effective in preventing coccidiosis and necrotic enteritis. In addition, they are completely safe natural products for animals and workers, they do not leave residues and do not require a withdrawal period.
