In March, Biovet S.A. participated in several commercial and technical activities in Mexico to promote the use of pronutrients in pig production and improve animal welfare.
The Biovet International Symposium was held on 18th March 2021 online. In the workshop two conferences were presented about the use of mycotoxin binders and natural solutions to mitigate the impact of mycotoxicosis and promote intestinal integrity and animal welfare in pig production.
Biovet participates in a conference on the limitation of the use of antibiotics in a training organized by AENSA
On October 22nd and 23rd 2020 the Association of Nutrion and Animal Health Companies (AENSA) of Ecuador held a training entitled ‘Substitutes of pharmacological products’. Biovet S.A. participated with a conference on the limitation of the use of antibiotics and presented pronutrients as a natural alternative available in the market.
‘Natural strategies for intestinal integrity’ was the title of the second session of the Biovet International Symposium, which took place on Thursday October 8th. In the congress the use of intestinal conditioner pronutrients as a natural solution was presented. These molecules help to maintain the intestine in optimal conditions, face challenges and, thus, optimize productive parameters.
Alquernat Nebsui and Alquermold Natural lead the first session of the Biovet International Symposium
The Biovet International Symposium started on Tuesday October 6, 2020. In this first session, entitled ‘Gut health challenges’, two trials were presented. The first one explained the use of intestinal conditioner pronutrients (Alquernat Nebsui) in comparison and combination with butyrate and prebiotics. The second one, was about the effect of Alquermold Natural in the prevention of necrotic enteritis.
Health and productive performance are tightly related to nutrition. This is because digestive processes that take place in the intestines have a significant effect on productive results.
The reduction of antibiotics, the organic production and the presence of mycotoxins were the main problems detected during the trip. For this, pronutrient line was presented. It is a line composed of natural products which can replace antibiotics commonly used in animal production. For the adsorption of mycotoxins, the use of Alquerfeed Antitox, mycotoxin binder of Biovet S.A., was indicated.
