Fungi and mycotoxins represent and important challenge in the way to achieve the performance objectives in farms, due to the negative effects they have on animals. To prevent mycotoxin consequences, it is essential to apply methods with a double focus: against mycotoxins and against the fungi that produce them.

On this occasion, Dr. David Diez, veterinarian of Biovet S.A., will present a trial about the use of the natural antimicrobial, Alquermold Natural, for the prevention of necrotic enteritis in broilers.

From 17th to 19th a commercial team of Biovet S.A. participated in the 21 edition of Agrena held in the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo (Egypt). From 9th to 11th October, Biovet S.A. attended the OVUM 2019 to present its natural solution to Latin America countries. The exhibition was held in Lima (Peru) and the main customers of the laboratory were received at the booth. In late February, Dr. David Díez visited Peru to take part in a conference on egg production and main challenges affecting laying hens. Biovet focused his intervention on explaining the causes and consequences of most common pathologies in the sector, and presented natural alternatives for its prevention and treatment.
