Technical visits in Malaysia and Myanmar
In November, a commercial and technical team of Biovet S.A. visited Malaysia and Myanmar to meet the distributors and main customers of the poultry sector. Natural products intended for the control of coccidia, mycotoxicosis and fungal contamination, more prevalent in humid climates, were the most prominent products during the meetings.
Technical visits in Europe
The reduction of antibiotics, the organic production and the presence of mycotoxins were the main problems detected during the trip. For this, pronutrient line was presented. It is a line composed of natural products which can replace antibiotics commonly used in animal production. For the adsorption of mycotoxins, the use of Alquerfeed Antitox, mycotoxin binder of Biovet S.A., was indicated.
Commercial visits in United States
In November, a technical and commercial team of Biovet S.A. visited the United States to meet representatives from leading poultry, pig and turkey farms interested in the use of natural additives to improve health and nutrition of their animals. In addition, on Wednesday 6 November, Dr. Júlia Pié gave the conference ‘Use of Natural Multifunctional in Animal Production’ in the framework of the Symposium on Gut Health that was held in St. Louis (Missouri).
Biovet expands its presence in Africa
From 17th to 19th a commercial team of Biovet S.A. participated in the 21 edition of Agrena held in the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo (Egypt). Biovet representatives attended the distributor’s stand to answer questions from those interested and strengthen the presence of the company in the African continent.
Conference on the multifunctional Alquermix at the Symposium on Gut Health
From November 4th to 6th 2019 Sant Louis (Missouri) will hold the Symposium on Gut Health in production of food animals. During the exhibition, Biovet will present a conference on a trial carried out with the multifunctional Alquermix for broilers. The conference will be given on Wednesday November 6th at 8 a.m. by Dr. Julia Pié, veterinarian of Biovet S.A.
Effect of Alquernat Inmuplus on genetic expression at the Allen D. Leman Conference
On September 15, Biovet S.A. participated in the Allen D. Leman Conference presenting a poster about the effect of Alquernat Inmuplus on genetic expression in immunostimulant cells and its relationship to increased resistance against infection respiratory reproductive syndrome (PRRS).
Pronutrients, mycotoxin binders and natural preservatives in the Simposium Biovet in Golden Sands
On Saturday, 28 September 2019, Golden Sands (Varna, Bulgaria) held a workshop with conferences about the use of natural additives in animal nutrition. The event brought together around 50 veterinarians, producers and technicians from Rumania in a symposium which was organized by the distributor of Biovet in Rumania, Stelban Com S.R.L. and Biovet S.A.
Technical visits in poultry companies in Thailand
During the month of July, a technical-commercial team of Biovet S.A. traveled to Thailand to visit some of the most important poultry companies and feedmills in the country. While there, they visited farms and made necropsies that allowed to detect the main problems that affect birds and offered solutions to prevent them.

Arequipa hosted a technical talk about natural additives for animal feed
On Saturday June the 8th the College of Public Accountants of the Peruvian city of Arequipa hosted an introductory technical session on the use of natural additives in animal feed, which was subsequently complemented by a session on biosecurity in animal production facilities.
