Biovet S.A. Presented the Latest Research on Food Safety at AAAP 2023

Last week Cecilia Lugo Korobkoff, veterinarian at Biovet S.A., gave a lecture on the latest research on food safety at the American Association of Avian Pathologists (AAAP) Annual Meeting. The event took place in Jacksonville, Florida, between 11-14 June 2023.

Her talk was centred on the control of Salmonella Infantis with the use of a natural microbiocide which also improves the performance of broiler chickens. She highlighted the importance of preventive measures of this pathogen to avoid contamination of poultry products for human consumption.

AAAP 2023 created a significant international forum to share and discuss the most recent studies and issues regarding avian diseases.
