Between May 29 and 31, a technical-commercial team from Biovet S.A. attended the booth together with the Adivet team, at AMEVEA 2024 Peru, which took place at ESAN Center.

The event, considered the largest in Peruvian poultry veterinary medicine, brought together the main production and supply companies in the sector, as well as the most qualified professionals in veterinary medicine in the poultry area. Key topics were addressed divided into six main areas: health, incubation, management, processing, nutrition and food safety.

During the fair, Eng. Aldo Ramírez gave a lecture entitled “Nutritional strategies and use of pronutrients to reduce production costs.” The benefits of natural additives produced by Biovet and how the use of pronutrients contributes to the reduction of production costs on farms were presented.

The entire process of formulating balanced feed was explained, as well as key points that must be taken into account for quality control of raw materials, nutritional levels, main additives that have a significant cost and how we can reduce the cost of inclusion with the use of pronutrients, how these have effects on the production level, generating a reduction in feed conversion and an increase in weight gain or an increase in egg production.

In addition, Biovet S.A. representatives held meetings with different companies in the country’s poultry sector, in which new products were presented, such as Alquerfeed Diatom Nat and Alquerfeed Diatom Coneb.
