Mr. Ferran Brull, East Asia area manager of Biovet SA, traveled to Japan and China at the end of June, 2018 with the aim of meeting the most important companies in the area in the poultry, pig and aquaculture sectors and to establish the contacts. During the visit, Mr. Brull presented the additive manufacturer company to the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture. The lines of Alquernat (pronutrients), Alquerfeed (mycotoxin binders), in Japan, and Alquermold (preservatives), in China, were the protagonists of the meetings.

BIOVET PRODUCTS
Regarding the Alquernat line, the product presented was Alquernat Magacal, with pronutrients that improve the absorption of minerals, “effective in laying hens to improve the quality of the eggshell,” said Mr. Brull.

The mycotoxin binder Alquerfeed Antitox was also presented in Asian countries. As explained by Mr. Brull the product “had interest from the specialists of the companies. Especially the mechanism of action of Silicoglycidol and its benefits in birds and pigs in the prevention of enteritis and poisonings (mycotoxicosis)”.

On the other hand, the commercial team of Biovet S.A. visited Niigata University in Japan, to present the company, meet with students and establish a link for future collaborations.

BIOVET IN CHINA
On the other hand, the commercial representative of Biovet visited China, where he made several presentations of the company, to strengthen the collaboration with the current distributor. During the visit the product Alquermold Natural was presented, as a natural preservative for “the control of the main pathogenic colonizing microorganisms of the intestine, such as Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus, fungi and yeasts“, highlighted Mr. Brull.

“The most important of the visits was to establish contacts with companies and contact potential clients in East Asia”, Concluded Mr. Brull.
