In mid-March, Biovet carried out a technical visit to Peru in collaboration with its local distributor, with the aim of reinforcing on-site support and strengthening relationships with producers and technical professionals in the poultry sector.

During the visit, work was carried out in the Chincha area, one of the country’s main egg-producing regions, where on-farm evaluations were conducted across different ages and production phases. These actions made it possible to assess the real conditions of the flocks and propose improvements tailored to each operation.

The technical advisory focused on key aspects such as environmental management, the prevention of respiratory issues, and the control of factors that directly impact productivity, including mycotoxins, feed-borne pathogens, and intestinal dysbiosis processes.

In addition, several poultry farms were visited where practical necropsy training sessions were carried out, creating a space for technical exchange with local managers. These sessions enabled the identification of critical points and the establishment of practical improvement strategies applicable on-site.

During these visits, Biovet S.A. also presented technologies aimed at addressing the main production challenges, with a focus on optimising key target organs such as the intestine and liver, as well as strengthening both general and local intestinal immunity.
