International success of the XLI Biovet Symposium in Tarragona

From 14 to 17 October 2025, Biovet S.A. held in Tarragona the 41st edition of its International Symposium, bringing together more than 120 attendees from different countries, including clients, distributors, university researchers and professionals from the animal production sector.

Once again, the event proved to be a key meeting point for the exchange of scientific knowledge and the presentation of the latest innovations in natural additives for animal production, as well as an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and promote international collaboration.

14 October – Arrival and welcome cocktail

The first day was dedicated to welcoming participants arriving from various parts of the world.
In the evening, Biovet S.A. hosted a welcome cocktail at Casa Joan Miret, where the company officially greeted all guests. This first gathering created a warm and friendly atmosphere, setting the tone for the coming days devoted to science, innovation and collaboration.

15 October – First day of technical presentations

On Wednesday, the first scientific sessions took place, divided into two blocks focusing on natural additives and microbiological challenges in animal production.

After a coffee break, the second block addressed microbiological challenges in the animal industry, with presentations on:

Following the morning sessions, participants enjoyed a networking lunch, and later in the afternoon took part in the cultural activity “Codorníu Experience”, visiting one of Spain’s most historic wineries with more than 450 years of winemaking tradition.

16 October – Mycotoxins and pronutrients

Thursday’s sessions focused on the study of mycotoxins and pronutrients, two key areas of Biovet’s research and innovation.

Mycotoxicosis – Issues and new developments

  • Current problems with mycotoxins: prevalence and industry challenges.
  • In vitro trials of Silicoglycidol adsorption.
  • Efficacy of Biovet’s line of mycotoxin binders in the prevention of mycotoxicosis in broilers.

After another coffee break, the second part of the day covered new research on pronutrients and their applications in different species:

Closing session and awards

The event concluded with the closing ceremony, which included recognition of several professionals and partners for their scientific and commercial contributions:

Afterwards, participants enjoyed the Golf Experience, which combined an introductory golf session with a lunch, providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to conclude the event.

The XLI Biovet International Symposium reaffirmed Biovet’s commitment to scientific research, the development of natural solutions, and the promotion of a more efficient, sustainable and safe animal production model.
