In May 2025, Biovet S.A. took part in SIPSA FILAHA AGROFOOD, one of the most prominent exhibitions for agriculture and livestock production in Algeria. Together with our local distributor, the company showcased its latest innovations based on pronutrients, furthering its commitment to growth across the African continent.

The technical team presented natural solutions designed to enhance gut health, liver function, and overall animal welfare. Among the products highlighted was Alquernat Livol, a liver conditioner that promotes hepatic regeneration and contains antioxidant compounds capable of neutralising free radicals and blocking lipoxygenase. Its action reduces the hepatotoxic effects of mycotoxins, pharmaceutical substances, and other stressors, while restoring liver physiology and supporting protein synthesis, fat and carbohydrate metabolism, and the detoxification of the organism.

Also presented was Alquernat Yucca, a product that significantly reduces ammonia levels in the digestive tract and faeces, lowering environmental ammonia by up to 80%. This contributes to improved animal welfare and productive performance. It acts as a natural deodoriser and ammonia reducer thanks to the combination of phenolic compounds, saponins and isopropyl-methylphenol, offering additional benefits such as improved pork meat acceptance and enhanced water quality in aquaculture systems.
