Biovet S.A. participated in VIV Türkiye 2025, held from 24 to 26 April at the Istanbul Expo Centre. The event, now in its eleventh edition, gathered 347 exhibitors from 40 countries and welcomed 10,854 visitors, including 3,732 international attendees.

During the event, Biovet showcased its latest natural solutions for poultry production, focused on improving gut health, productive performance and animal welfare. These innovations are based on 100% natural additives, which leave no residues, do not cause resistance and require no withdrawal period.

Among the featured products, Alquernat Zycox stood out for its efficacy in controlling coccidiosis. This intestinal optimiser based on pronutrients has shown superior results compared to traditional anticoccidial programmes, including coccidiostats. It acts by stimulating local immunity in the intestine, thereby improving productive parameters and reducing mortality.

Alquerfeed Diatom, formulated with activated diatomaceous earth, was also presented. This additive helps to regulate intestinal transit, increasing feed retention time in the digestive tract, which enhances nutrient absorption and has a positive effect on growth rate and feed efficiency.

Other solutions included Alquermold Natural Plus, a natural preservative with intestinal biocidal action, and Alquernat Yucca, a natural deodorising additive.

In the technical session, Dr Ouriachi discussed the production of broiler chickens without antibiotic growth promoters (AGPs) or anticoccidial antibiotics, highlighting the advantages of using pronutrients to prevent intestinal pathologies such as necrotic enteritis and coccidiosis.
