During the month of May, Biovet S.A., leader in the production of natural additives for animal nutrition and welfare, has carried out a series of technical visits to several poultry farms and feed mills in Bangladesh. Led by Dr. David Diez, these visits have aimed to propose solutions to specific challenges faced by local producers and continue to consolidate the effectiveness of our innovative products.

During the stay in Bangladesh, Dr. David Díez, together with the local distributor, Doctor’s Agrovet, visited the main companies in the country and organised seminars for the dissemination of some research results with the use of the main technologies. In these meetings, important topics such as feed preservation, intestinal epithelium conditioning and intestinal transit were discussed.

We especially highlight our products:

Alquerfeed Diatom: Controls rapid transit and acts as a growth enhancer. This product based on activated diatoms of the genus Thalassiosira and Actinoptychus (exoskeletons of microscopic algae) increases the digestibility and the contact time of the feed with the intestine, favoring the absorption of nutrients. As a result, more meat is produced and feed consumption is saved.

Alquermold Natural: Natural antimicrobial and feed preservative with bactericidal and fungicidal activity for raw materials and feed. It combines cimenol ring and citric acid, and is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, such as most fungi and bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Pseudomonas, Campylobacter and Staphylococcus, among others. It also promotes the growth of beneficial intestinal flora. It is an excellent alternative to organic acids for the preservation of feed and raw materials.

Alquernat Nebsui: Intestinal conditioner. Contains pronutrients that promote enterocyte regeneration, strengthen tight junctions, and improve nutrient absorption by optimizing digestive processes. Can replace growth promoters.
