Biovet S.A. will participate with a stand at the XXV Central American and Caribbean Poultry Congress to be held from August 21st to 23rd in San Pedro Sula (Honduras). During the event, technical conferences on poultry health, genetics, production and environmental management will be held. Visitors will find the manufacturer of natural additives Biovet S.A. at booth number 5, where they can learn the latest developments in the product lines: preservatives, pronutrients and mycotoxin binders.

In this regard, the representative of the Biovet technical team. S.A, Dr. Elvira Cano, has advanced that during the meeting will show “the latest results made in different parts of the world, which confirm the effectiveness of the natural preservative with microbiocidal activity, Alquermold Natural, for the prevention of necrotic enteritis”.

It is a bactericide and fungicide for raw materials and compound feed in which the action of a patented active principle of natural origin, the cimenol ring, is combined with citric acid. “Its incorporation into drinking water allows the control of the main pathogenic colonizing microorganisms of the intestine, such as Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus, fungi and yeasts” she explained.
