Biovet participates in Allen D. Leman Swine Conferences

Biovet S.A. presented two abstracts in the Allen D. Leman Swine Conferences that took place from September 16th to 19th in Minnesota.

This time, a trial carried out at Purdue University to evaluate the effect of a mycotoxin binder (Alquerfeed Antitox) with hepatorregenerative action (Alquernat Livol) in pigs fed mycotoxin-contaminated diets was presented. Results showed an improvement in the productive parameters, especially in feed conversion rate, and in the indicators of hepatic damage thanks to the use of the product.

The second trial, carried out at the University of Minnesota, tested Alquermold Natural L’s efficacy at different concentrations and exposure times on Salmonella Dublin and Clostridium perfringens. Results showed that the product is effective on these microorganisms, and that there is dose-effect relation.

These two abstracts were presented in Allen D. Leman Swine Conferences, an annual event for people from the pig farming industry around the world. This congress is widely regarded for the scientific solutions and the analysis of the sector it offers.
