Gut health, environmental control and productive efficiency: Biovet S.A.’s approach at the British Pig & Poultry Fair
Biovet S.A. recently participated in the British Pig & Poultry Fair 2026, held on 13 and 14 May at the NEC Birmingham, one of the key professional events for the pig, poultry and egg production sectors in the United Kingdom. The 2026 edition brought together more than 8,400 visitors, around 330 exhibitors and a wide-ranging technical programme with sector experts.

Biovet’s presence at the event, together with its distributors in the British market, provided an opportunity to maintain direct contact with professionals from the animal industry and share solutions aimed at some of the challenges currently of greatest concern to producers: gut health, productive efficiency, animal welfare and environmental quality on farm.
In this context, Biovet presented its approach based on pronutrients and natural additives, designed to support the physiological functioning of the animal and contribute to more efficient and sustainable production. This line of work is particularly relevant in a market where the search for natural, effective alternatives adapted to real field needs continues to gain importance.
Among the solutions highlighted were Alquernat Zycox, aimed at supporting the intestinal immune system against challenges caused by protozoa such as coccidiosis, and Alquernat Yucca, developed to help reduce ammonia levels in poultry and pig production, promoting better air quality, respiratory health and productive performance.
Participation in the British Pig & Poultry Fair reinforces Biovet S.A.’s commitment to the British market and consolidates its positioning in a highly specialised professional environment, where innovation, sustainability and improved farm profitability are increasingly decisive factors.
