Technical visits to Costa Rica and Honduras

Last week, Eng. Aldo Ramírez, Biovet technical representative in Latin America, made several visits to Costa Rica to clients, potential clients and animal nutrition advisors to show the concepts of pronutrients and the Biovet line of research.

During the meetings, we discussed the evaluations we have developed to improve the response in digestive physiology, which lead to better absorption of nutrients (with Alquernat Nebsui), control of pathogenic bacteria that seeks to maintain the balance of the digestive flora or be a corrective to reduce the population of non-beneficial bacteria, in addition to the preservative properties of the Alquermold Natural product.

Trials on mycotoxin control were shown, through efficient and effective absorption with our active ingredient Silicoglycidol, in addition to the preservative power of the Binmold product.

In the case of San Pedro de Sula in Honduras, the meetings were focused on producers of feed for shrimp and fish and also tilapia breeding companies. The products and work were aligned with the needs of the market, which is trying to reduce the incidence of mortality due to different problems that occur, especially due to some varieties of streptococci. The approach presented was to work on strengthening and stimulating the immune system to increase its response to challenges and activities that occur during the production process, which generates stress in the breeding and pre-fattening stage, which leads to being more exposed to the problems generated by streptococcus such as septicemia and emningoencephalitis.

The use of pronutrients included in Alquernat Nebsui and Alquernat Yucca was proposed to improve production parameters such as weight and feed conversion rate, where we presented the work carried out in Honduras, China and Mexico, which show improvements of 10-15%.

The technical advisory work represents an essential point in the development of a country, to offer Biovet natural solutions to nutritional deficiencies predisposing to pathologies and production losses.
