Biovet’s training day took place at the end of April in Medellin, and was organized by International Pharmacy S.A.S. Avian and pig technicians and producers attended the event.

First, pronutrient’s mechanism of action and their effects on production and animal health were exposed, followed by the intervention of Dr. Alfonso Díaz, who is experienced in natural products, presented the results obtained with Alquernat Nebsui, Alquernat Zycox and Alquernat Livol in broilers, breeders and turkeys.

Dr. Diaz highlighted the physiological normalization of the intestinal epithelium and the hepatocytes in the improvement of the feed conversion rate and body weight in animals fed no AGPs, anticoccidials, antihistomoniasics nor hepatic protectors.
