Biovet S.A. visits farms in Bangladesh
At the beginning of September, a technical and commercial team from Biovet S.A. visited several laying hen farms in Bangladesh.
Together with the technical team of the distributor, Doctor’s Agro-Vet, the purpose of the visits was to verify the health status of the farms and to offer appropriate technical support for existing pathologies.
In general, lacks of biosecurity measures were noticed, a well-known fact in the country.
During the necropsies carried out, the presence of bacteria such as E. Coli and Salmonella was observed, therefore, Alquermold Natural was recommended, a natural additive with bactericidal and fungicidal activity. Alquermold Natural also works as a preservative for raw materials and feed with a long-lasting effect (up to 6 months).
In an in vitro test carried out in a laboratory in Latin America, the product proved to be an effective alternative to organic acids. The results obtained showed the powerful microbiocidal effect of Alquermold Natural, which managed to reduce the contamination of Clostridium, E. coli and Salmonella by more than 96%.
In the second farm visited, eggs with shell alterations were observed, such as eggs without shell, irregular, asymmetrical and wrinkled eggs.
To prevent these alterations, Alquernat Nebsui was recommended, to improve the intestinal welfare of the birds. Alquernat Nebsui, which contains intestinal conditioner pronutrients, is ideal for promoting the regeneration of enterocytes in laying birds. In this way, the absorption of nutrients is improved and the digestive processes essential for egg formation are optimized.
