The Scientific University of the South (UCSUR) and Biovet SA, with the collaboration of the Peruvian Association of Poultry, Veterinaria Digital and Adivet, organize the II International Poultry Workshop to be held on November 25 and 26, 2017 at Campus Villa of UCSUR, in Lima (Peru).

The event is directed to the companies, professionals of the poultry industry and students of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics interested in expanding their knowledge. This second edition will focus on pharmacology and will include lectures on poultry pharmacology, anatomo-physiological factors in birds, differentiation between medicines and pronutrients and Latin American drug regulations. In addition there will also be a part of the course dedicated to the dichotomous keys and the accomplishment of necropsies

This course is the result of the agreement that UCSUR and Biovet signed in 2016 to collaborate in scientific research and teaching related to animal nutrition. This agreement also contemplated the realization of the experimental farm where several tests are already being carried out, in collaboration with students of UCSUR, dedicated to the development of products that improve animal welfare.
