A success of international participation and scientific presentations

The conferences took place from April 25 to 27 and the event was held in two languages with the collaboration of translators, so that attendees had the possibility of choosing Spanish or English depending on their preferences.
Dr. Jaime Borrell, president of Biovet S.A., inaugurated the event where he highlighted Biovet’s involvement in research since 1984, emphasizing the following motto “we only market what we produce and we only produce what we have researched.”

Alquerfeed Diatom in broilers, a natural solution to slow down intestinal transit

On the first day, after the opening ceremony, the conference began with a presentation on Alquerfeed Diatom in broilers. A trial was presented by Dr. Claudia Espinoza (Universidad Cientifica del Sur, Peru), with the objective of evaluating the effect of Diatom Coneb and Diatom Alquermix AN in
broiler chickens.

Trials with Alquermold Natural as a natural preservative

The presentation held by Eng. Hugo Patiño demonstrated the effectiveness of Alquermold Natural as a preservative, based on a test carried out in Peru. The effect of the preservative as a bactericidal and fungicide with a broad spectrum of action and long duration (up to 6 months) was analyzed, compared to other
preservatives based on organic acids and formaldehyde.

Alquernat Zycox, pronutrients that optimize the intestinal mucosa

Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease of great importance that causes losses throughout the world. Intestinal optimizer pronutrients stimulate local immunity in the intestine and help eliminate coccidia from intestinal cells, being an effective alternative to coccidiostats. This was
demonstrated in the essay presented by Eng. Aldo Ramirez, in the third presentation of the Symposium.

Efficacy of Alquernat Coneb in turkeys

In the study carried out on his turkey farm, Dr. Gergely Sándor showed the effectiveness of Alquernat Coneb against Histomoniasis, a common disease in these birds. The productive performance of the farm was also evaluated, without any treatment with antibiotics, only with natural solutions based on pronutrients.

The first day of presentations concluded with the presentation of the new Biovet S.A. website, designed by Sergio Garcia, the company’s marketing representative.

The event, organized every year since 1984, had the participation of more than 60 guests, both distributors, customers and scientific researchers from more than 20 countries.
