Biovet S.A. has obtained the registration of the trademark Alquernat Nebsui in Ukraine, a country in which Biovet has begun its first commercial actions.

Alquernat Nebsui is a part of the product line Alquernat of Biovet S.A. This line represents the company’s products made with pronutrients, biomolecules of natural origin that allow the reduction of chemical additives in animal production, improving food safety, and maintaining the production parameters of the livestock and poultry industries.

In particular, Alquernat Nebsui is an effective alternative to Antibiotic Growth Promoters  (AGP). It is a product based on plant extracts with a high content of intestinal conditioning pronutrients. The contribution of this type of pronutrients allows to increase the renewal of the intestinal mucosa, improve the digestion and absorption of nutrients and have a greater control of the pathogenic microorganisms of the intestine.

This product maintains the physiological condition of the digestive tract by stimulating the regeneration of the epithelium: it improves the height of the microvilli and the depth of the crypts, which leads to a better absorption of nutrients, favors close joins and prevents the fixation of pathogenic bacteria to enterocytes. In addition, it also helps prevent MMA syndrome (mastitis-metritis-agalaxia).

According to field trials carried out in Europe, the benefits of Alquernat Nebsui are: reduced feed consumption, increased meat production, improved efficiency index and also increase the absorption of water-soluble vitamins (B1, B12 ) and liposoluble (E, A, D) in enterocytes.

Currently, this trademark is already registered in several countries of the American and European continent and now also has a registry that will ensure exclusivity and protection in the Ukrainian market.
