Technonews:Use of pronutrients with an immunostimulant activity in aviculture

In a trial carried out in XiangYai, HeBei (China) in broiler chickens, the effects of a product composed of pronutrients with an immunostimulant activity on productive performance and the immune response were evaluated.

BATCHES (12000 broilers/batch)

•    BATCH 1 (Pronutrients): Natural immunobooster (pronutrients) through drinking water at 0.25 ml/L. Administration on days 9 – 12 and 20 – 23, for 12 hours
•    BATCH 2 (control): standard diet without immunoboosters

CONCLUSIONS
It has been proved that the administration of pronutrients with an immunobooster activity to broilers improves the following productive parameters:

• Final weight (+4.24%)
• Feed Conversion Rate (-1.25%)
• Efficiency index (+16.3 points)
• Mortality (-1.2%)

In addition, there is a higher immune response against vaccination, which is seen by a greater mean antibody titer.

Pronutrients with an immunostimulant activity are commercialized under the name Alquernat Immuplus.
