Technical visit in pig farms in China

A technical team of Biovet S.A. travelled during the month of January to the southwest of China, where conducted several technical visits to pig farms, together with Beijing Saint Green, distributor of Biovet in the Asian country, and professors of the University of Fujian. Likewise, the team also visited the facilities of this faculty.

Dr. Elvira Cano, a veterinarian from Biovet, visited different pig farms in the regions of Guanxi, Canton and Fujian. During the meeting subjects related to mycotoxins, viral and bacterialprocesses and the importance of maintaining a good physiological state in animals to deal with such problems, were addressed. Finally, Cano explained the consequences of the presence of these microorganisms in farms.

In this sense, to prevent the effects of mycotoxins, Alquerfeed Antitox was presented, a mycotoxin binder that prevents the negative effects of ingestion of food contaminated by mycotoxins and does not adsorb other products such as vitamins, enzymes and drugs.

Likewise, Dr. Elvira Cano recommended the use of Alquermold Natural, a preservative of Biovet SA, bactericide and fungicidal for raw materials and compound foods, which allows the control of the main intestine colonizer pathogens such as Salmonella, E. Coli, Clostridium, Staphyloccocus, fungi and yeasts.

Alquernat Nebsui, is a conditioner of the digestive mucosa whose different pronutrients promote the regeneration of the digestive epithelium, which improves the state of the mucosa and, therefore, the absorption of nutrients. In addition, new cells are more resistant to pathogen invasion. For this reason, this product can replace the Antibiotic Growth Promoters (AGPs).

On the other hand, the veterinary of Biovet emphasized the natural immunobooster that reinforces the immunity, Alquernat Inmuplus: “This product reinforces the immunity both, in young animals, whose immune system is still immature, as in adult animals. In addition, it favours the effectiveness of vaccines and complements pharmacological therapy in infections, by avoiding superinfections, just as it can be used in cases in which pharmacological therapy is not possible due to the period of suppression”.

In this sense, she highlighted that “the use of conditioning pronutrients of the digestive mucosa andimmunoboosters improve the intestinal physiological state and strengthens the immune system and with it the health of animals.”
