‘Natural additives for animal nutrition’

The aforementioned title describes Biovet’s contribution to VIV Bangkok’s conference sessions about relevant advances within the agri-food sector. Dr. David Díez gave a detailed talk on pathologies of fungal and bacterial etiology, paying special attention to those that affect animal digestive system.

On that note, Biovet’s natural preservative Alquermold Natural was presented. Thanks to the synergy of the active principles of cimenol ring and citric acid makes it capable of mitigating the effects of fungal and bacterial contamination in feed and raw materials. Its properties as a natural biocide also makes Alquermold Natural a suitable product to promote the balance of the intestinal flora, reducing Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium and Staphylococcus-induced disease outbreaks.
