PRONUTRIENTS – Intestinal welfare in poultry farming

Biovet S.A.’s objective is to promote knowledge to improve intestinal welfare in poultry farming. Our research and trials carried out in collaboration with international universities have led to the development of technologies such as intestinal conditioners. This type of pronutrients which is part of Alquernat Nebsui, patented by Biovet S.A., are natural active molecules that improve intestinal integrity and digestive processes. Furthermore, it has a positive impact on production results. Other products of this line based on different types of pronutrients depending on the cell and target organ, are marketed under the name Alquernat™, aroused the greatest interest among participants.

Controlling intestinal rapid transit – ALQUERFEED DIATOM

Rapid intestinal transit is a frequent problem in farms, and for this reason, visitors showed great interest in Alquerfeed Diatom, which increases the retention time of feed in the digestive tract of poultry. Alquerfeed Diatom is composed of optimized and activated diatoms, which reduce the intestinal transit speed and improve the digestibility of the different components of the diet.

All Biovet products are natural products that do not have a pharmacological mechanism of action and therefore do not leave residues, do not generate microbial resistance, and do not require a withdrawal period. They represent an important alternative to the use of antibiotics and other chemicals.
