On March 13^th a technical and commercial team of Biovet S.A. conducted a Symposium in Colombia where the main product lines of the company were presented. The talk conference focused on explaining the funcions of natural and innovative products of the company that aim to reduce the use of chemical substances in the feed while maintaining the productive parameters and animal welfare.

Accordingly, the mechanism of action of the pronutrients, molecules of vegetal origin such as Alquernat Nebsui (intestinal conditioner), Alquernat Zycox (intestinal optimizer) and Alquernat Immuplus (Natural Immunostimulant) were exposed. These three products contain pronutrients, biomolecules of natural origin that replace the use of chemical additives and ensure productive results while maintaining feed safety.

In addition, the preservative Alquermold Natural also was presented, a preservative, biocide and fungicide for raw materials and compound feed. Its incorporation into drinking water allows the control of the main pathogenic colonizing microorganisms of the intestine, such as Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus, fungi and yeasts.

Finally, were presented products for layers such as Alquernat Magacal, prevents bone wear and increases the absorption of calcium from the diet; and Alquerfeed Ovoponedoras, which improves the quality of the eggshell, especially after certain stress conditions.

The sales and technical staff of International Pharmacy, distributor of Biovet S.A. in Colombia, Distrivet Costa Rica and Panama also participated in the Symposium.
