Technical visit in a duck farm in China

A technical team of Biovet S.A. travelled to China in December, where it was made several technical visits, together with Beijing Saint Green, distributor of Biovet in the Asian country.

Dr. David Díez, veterinarian of Biovet S.A., had the opportunity to visit a duck farm located in the province of Shandong, in the east of the country. During the visit subjects related to mycotoxins and the consequences that cause the presence of these microorganisms in the farms were addressed, such as the innumerable economic losses and the negative effects on human and animal health.

In this sense, to prevent the effects of mycotoxins, Alquerfeed Antitox was presented, a mycotoxin binder that prevents the negative effects of ingestion of food contaminated by mycotoxins and does not adsorb other products such as vitamins, enzymes and drugs.

CONTROL OF INTESTINE COLONISERS

During the stay also treated the problems arising from mycosis, an infectious disease caused by fungi that can cause lesions in the beak, crop and gizzard of birds.

To prevent these injuries, it was recommended the use of Alquermold Natural, a preservative, bactericide and fungicidal for raw material and compound foods, which allows the control of the main intestine colonizer pathogens such as Salmonella, E. Coli, Clostridium, Staphyloccocus, fungi and yeasts.

These technical visits were made within the framework of a commercial technical trip that Biovet S.A. made in China to carry out technical training and solve the doubts of the customers.
