The use of pronutrients in avian production, as well as its advantages in mitigating the impact of coccidia and necrotic enteritis were the main topics in the second session of the 32nd International Symposium of Biovet. It was held on May 27-28 at the Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona, Spain.
Biovet visited leading poultry farms in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Missouri and Mississippi, and visited NCSU’s facilities, where its representatives could see first-hand results obtained from a trial carried out with Biovet’s antiprotozoan Alquernat Coneb.
Biovet S.A. Laboratories, manufacturer of natural additives for animal nutrition and health, has recently obtained the registration certificate of its Alquermold trademark in India. These natural preservatives are made of plant extracts and can function as an intestinal biocide.
With a strong presence in America, Europe and Asia, Biovet plans to increase the commercialization of products for animal health and nutrition in the African continent, being its southernmost country one of the most important in terms of livestock production.
Biovet presents a poster in the 6th edition of the International Conference on Poultry Intestinal Health
Biovet’s poster revolves on better animal health and nutrition, one of the main topics discussed in the gathering. The combination of an intestinal conditioner together with a natural preservative based on cimenol ring and citric acid helps optimizing the animal intestinal physiology.
Between March 13th-15th Biovet S.A. laboratories attended the international agri-food fair VIV Bangkok 2019. Under the motto “from feed to feed” the event concentrated a total of 1,250 exhibitors with global and regional presence formed by poultry, pork, aquaculture, egg and dairy production sectors.
Last February, Biovet S.A. visited some of the most important poultry producers in Peru. Dr. David Díez held technical training sessions on prevalent pathologies within the Peruvian avian sector, as well as the correct performance of necropsies in birds.

In late February, Dr. David Díez visited Peru to take part in a conference on egg production and main challenges affecting laying hens. Biovet focused his intervention on explaining the causes and consequences of most common pathologies in the sector, and presented natural alternatives for its prevention and treatment.
