More than 60 producers of birds and pigs from Chincha attend a conference presented by Biovet

More than 60 veterinarians, as well as University professors, producers and professionals from the poultry and swine sectors of Chincha (Peru) attended a conference presented by the technical team of Biovet, in which the effect of intestinal conditioning and hepatic-regenerators pronutrients in poultry and pig farming was provided. Likewise, the properties of the natural preservative Alquermold Natural and the mycotoxin binder Alquerfeed Antitox were also addressed.

Regarding the definition of pronutrients, David Díez, Dr. Veterinary and spokesperson of the Biovet technical team, stressed: “We start from the basis that the pronutrients are natural substances that contain some active principles, that improve the physiology of the animals and noting that animals can access them under natural conditions, but not on farms; taking into account these principles Biovet has developed several products, among which include intestinal and hepato-regenerative conditioners, with positive effects demonstrated in “in vitro” and “in vivo” trials in poultry and swine. “

In particular, intestinal mucosa conditioner pronutrients “improve the intestinal mucosa because they increase the regeneration of the intestinal mucosa. This leads to greater absorption of nutrients and inhibition of the growth of unwanted pathogenic microorganisms. ”

On the other hand, the hepatic-regenerator pronutrients produce a positive effect in the liver of the animals, because it increases the regeneration and liver protection. Therefore, these pronutrients optimize the state of the organ, which is reflected in good productive results.

Other types of pronutrients are: gut mucosa optimizers; immune boosters; feed optimizers; free anti-free radicals; epithelial conditioners; pituitary conditioners; prebiotics and mineral metabolism conditioners.

Finally, Díez remarked “the importance of the use of the natural preservative and mycotoxin binder in the diet as a system to prevent damage caused by microorganisms and their mycotoxins.”
