Biovet S.A. gives a “positive assessment” of the XXV Central American and Caribbean Poultry Congress
Biovet S.A. Laboratorios participated in the XXV Central American and Caribbean Poultry Congress, which was held from August 21st to 23rd in San Pedro Sula (Honduras). During the three days the manufacturer of additives of animal origin company informed visitors of the qualities of natural products designed to improve the physiology and health status of animals to prevent pathologies.
“The natural preservatives and pronutrients are the most innovative products and the future of the market,” was reported by sources of Biovet SA, who confirmed that during “the congress had established commercial relationships with the main producers of America, so the valuation of the participation is very positive”.
Honduras is a market in full development, which is opening up to natural products, they explained. In this regard, during the event they showed “the latest results in different parts of the world, which confirm the effectiveness of the natural preservative with microbiocidal activity, Alquermold Natural, for the prevention of necrotic enteritis“.
It is a patented product, which acts as a bactericide and fungicide for raw materials and compound feed, in which the action of an active principle of botanical source (cimenol ring) is combined with citric acid. “Its incorporation into drinking water allows the control of the main pathogenic colonizing microorganisms of the intestine, such as Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus, fungi and yeasts”, they emphasize.
Also, representatives of the veterinarian team of Biovet have highlighted: “The visitors were very interested in the latest in vivo tests that demonstrate the effectiveness of pronutrients – botanical extracts of natural origin – that are added to feed in small quantities – and have the capacity to improve the physiological state of the poultry and, therefore, the productive performance of the farms”.
The Central American and Caribbean Poultry Congress, organized by ANAVIH (National Association of Poultry Farmers of Honduras) is an event that brings together producers of broilers, layers and breeders from all countries of Central and South America. It covers both technical conferences on poultry health, genetics, production and environmental management as well as a commercial exhibition with the main suppliers of the poultry industry.
