{"id":59609,"date":"2023-08-29T11:19:46","date_gmt":"2023-08-29T09:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/biovets-article-in-feed-and-additive-magazine\/"},"modified":"2024-04-22T12:29:30","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T10:29:30","slug":"biovets-article-in-feed-and-additive-magazine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/2023\/08\/29\/biovets-article-in-feed-and-additive-magazine\/","title":{"rendered":"Biovet\u2019s article in Feed and Additive Magazine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14082\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/biovet-feedAdditive-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2480\" height=\"1394\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our article, detailing the efficacy of the natural antimicrobial Alquermold Natural, has been published in the August issue of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.feedandadditive.com\/archive\/Issue31_August2023\/40\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Magazine for Animal Feed &amp; Additives Industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Biovet\u2019s paper, <strong><em>Natural Antimicrobial Against Major Pathogens, Including Salmonella<\/em><\/strong><em>, <\/em>demonstrates the effect of Alquermold Natural against Clostridium, E. coli, and Salmonella, which cause feed alteration and major animal disorders.<\/p>\n<p>In vitro trials carried out in several independent laboratories proved that the plant-based additive\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/producto\/alquermold-natural-p-and-l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alquermold Natural\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>is a highly effective\u00a0<strong>broad-spectrum microbicide<\/strong>\u00a0which acts as a <strong>feed preservative<\/strong>. In addition, it does not affect beneficial microorganisms in the intestine once it reaches the digestive tract while <strong>controlling the proliferation of intestinal pathogens<\/strong>. The completely natural product is safe to use, does not cause any harm to machinery, animals, or workers, and\u00a0<strong>leaves no residues<\/strong>\u00a0in animal products.<\/p>\n<p>Results showed that after seven days of using Alquermold Natural, <strong><em>Clostridium<\/em> was reduced by more than 85.8%, <em>E. coli<\/em> by 99.7%, and <em>Salmonella<\/em> by 99%<\/strong> in corn and feed. The comparative trial also concluded that the effect of Biovet\u2019s natural additive is \u201c<strong><em>superior even half the dose than the other products<\/em><\/strong><em> tested whether at moderate or high contamination<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alquermold Natural does not represent an additional cost as it can substitute several types of products: it works as a feed preservative, prevents infectious diseases, and reduces the presence of pathogens such as <em>Clostridium<\/em>, <em>E. coli<\/em>, <em>Salmonella<\/em>, among others.
