{"id":59535,"date":"2023-06-20T07:31:52","date_gmt":"2023-06-20T05:31:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/biovet-at-espn-2023\/"},"modified":"2024-04-22T12:28:51","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T10:28:51","slug":"biovet-at-espn-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/2023\/06\/20\/biovet-at-espn-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Biovet at ESPN 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13992\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Biovet-European-Symposium-on-Poultry-Nutrition_2023-1-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1773\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Italian Branch of the World\u2019s Poultry Science Association will organize the 23rd European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition &#8211; <strong>ESPN 2023<\/strong> from June 21 &#8211; 24, 2023, at the Palacongressi di Rimini, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The congress is one of the most significant forums for poultry nutrition issues in Europe which provides a unique opportunity to present scientific and technical achievements in the industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cimenol ring: natural antimicrobial to avoid losses due to dirty eggs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Biovet S.A. will participate in the Symposium with a poster titled\u00a0<strong>\u201cEvaluation of the effect of a natural antimicrobial in feed for laying hens on the productive performance and egg quality\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The R&amp;D department of Biovet S.A. has conducted pioneering research into natural antimicrobials and, years ago, launched <strong>the cimenol ring<\/strong>, a natural compound which has a specific antimicrobial effect against pathogens while not affecting the beneficial flora. This way, it <strong>prevents the infections<\/strong> caused by\u00a0<em>enterobacteria<\/em>\u00a0that alter the consistency of the stool, <strong>eliminates microorganisms <\/strong>such as <em>E. coli, Salmonella <\/em>and<em> Clostridium<\/em>, and\u00a0<strong>promotes the balance of the intestinal microbiota<\/strong>, preventing food-borne zoonoses and improving laying parameters.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, our research shows that the effect of the cimenol ring can be enhanced by combining it with citric acid, producing a significant synergism. The combined action of these two active compounds has been\u00a0<strong>patented by Biovet S.A.<\/strong>\u00a0and marketed under the name of\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/producto\/alquermold-natural-p-and-l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alquermold Natural<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Alquermold Natural and other products of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/2021\/07\/12\/ovum-line-natural-solutions-for-layers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ovum line<\/a>\u00a0by Biovet S.A.\u00a0<strong>improve the production and <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.veterinariadigital.com\/en\/post_blog\/effect-of-the-cimenol-ring-on-the-productive-performance-and-egg-quality-of-laying-hens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">quality of the eggs\u00a0<\/a>while reducing the negative effects caused by heat stress, intestinal dysbiosis or mineral deficiencies.
