During the training there were some conferences on <strong>pig farming in Flash Products format.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most of these talks were given by collaborators and clients of Biovet S.A. who explained the practical applications of the company&#8217;s solutions in pig production.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Alquernat Inmuplus in pigs, results obtained in China<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Lei Liang (Biozhi \u2013 China) gave the first conference of this sessions and presented a trial were the <strong>applications of Alquernat Immuplus in pigs were explained<\/strong>. The results showed that Alquernat Immuplus was able to improve the immunological quality of the colostrum (levels of IgA) in sows that were vaccinated twice against Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea (PEDv) intramuscularly. In addition, Alquernat Immuplus had a comparable effect to that of an additional oral vaccine, and it is an easier solution to administer compared to an oral vaccine.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Alquerfeed Livtox improves the production parameters in pregnant sows <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Alejandra Ruiz (Inpsas-Colombia) presented a conference about the <strong>use of <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/producto\/alquerfeed-livtox\/\"><strong>Alquerfeed LivTox<\/strong><\/a><strong> in pigs<\/strong>. Alquerfeed Livtox, a combination of mycotoxin binder and liver conditioner pronutrients, was administered to 800 sows with reproductive problems, replacing a competitor, during the pregnancy and lactation.<\/p>\n<p>Alquerfeed Livtox allowed to improve the fertility rate (+19%), reduce the repetitions (-61.4% time in the weaning-to-service interval), increase the farrowings\/sow\/year (+1 FSY), the number of born alive piglets (+2) and their weaning weight (+9%).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13224 size-full\" title=\"Alquerfeed Livtox improves the production parameters in pregnant sows\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_0215.jpg\" alt=\"Alquerfeed Livtox improves the production parameters in pregnant sows\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Alquernat Nebsui, natural alternative to Zinc oxide<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Then, Dr. Ekaitz Maguregui, veterinarian at Biovet S.A., presented several field trials using <strong>Alquernat Nebsui as an alternative to zinc oxide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The use of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veterinariadigital.com\/en\/articulos\/available-alternatives-to-zinc-oxide-in-europe\/\"><strong>Zinc oxide<\/strong><\/a><strong> for the prevention of the post-weaning diarrhea <\/strong>will no longer be a solution for EU pig farmers from June of this year. Alquernat Nebsui, a natural product based on intestinal conditioner pronutrients is the natural replacement offered by Biovet S.A. for the zinc oxide. The efficacy of Alquernat Nebsui has been tested in several trials in EU, and results obtained in Greece, Hungary and Italy, among others, were shared.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13227\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_0226.jpg\" alt=\"Alquernat Nebsui, natural alternative to Zinc oxide\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Commercial farm experience with Alquermold Natural and Alquernat Nebsui<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Gerardo Ricaud from M\u00e9xico explained in the Symposium its experience in a commercial farm using <strong>Alquermold Natural and Alquernat Nebsui in pigs<\/strong>. Both products were tested in one of the biggest farms of Sonora (Mexico), and the use of Alquernat Nebsui and Alquermold Natural was evaluated <strong>to control a <em>Clostridium perfringens<\/em> challenge on their farms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>combination of Biovet products during the fattening allowed them to achieve a mortality of 0.77% and 0.32% of pigs<\/strong> sold as laggards (98% of the pigs reached the weight at slaughter, increasing the kilos of sold meat). The feed conversion during fattening was of 2.40 and from 7 to 120 kilos of 2.33, which were the best feed conversion rates obtained in the entire historic results of the farm.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Effect of Alquerflav Porcino in the first stages of pig Production<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The session finished with a conference of Dr. Alexander Obando from Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Santa Mar\u00eda de Arequipa (Per\u00fa), who presented the conference \u2018<strong>Effect of Alquerflav Porcino in the first stages of pig production\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alquerflav Porcino, a starter supplement was tested in piglets from 14 to 56 days of age. <strong>Alquerflav Porcino improved the feed intake by 20%, the weight gain by 38% and reduced the FCR by up to 14%,<\/strong> compared to a competitor product, proving the efficacy of this product as a growth enhancer in the first diets of piglets.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13226 size-full\" title=\"Effect of Alquerflav Porcino in the first stages of pig Production\" comparaci\u00f3n con un producto de la competencia, lo que demuestra la eficacia de este producto como potenciador del crecimiento en las primeras dietas de los Alquernat Inmuplus en cerdos, resultados obtenidos en China Esta sesi\u00f3n inici\u00f3 con la videoconferencia del Dr. Lei Liang (Biozhi, China) sobre las aplicaciones de Alquernat Inmuplus en cerdos. En el ensayo expuesto se demostr\u00f3 como Alquernat Inmuplus consigui\u00f3 mejorar la calidad inmunol\u00f3gica del calostro (niveles de IgA) en cerdas que fueron vacunadas dos veces contra la Diarrea Epid\u00e9mica Porcina (PEDv) por v\u00eda intramuscular. Adem\u00e1s, Alquernat Inmuplus tuvo un efecto comparable al de una vacuna oral adicional y es una soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil para administrar en comparaci\u00f3n con una vacuna oral. Alquerfeed Livtox mejora los par\u00e1metros productivos en cerdas gestantes Le sigui\u00f3 la conferencia de la Dra. Alejandra Ruiz (Inpsas - Colombia) sobre el uso de Alquerfeed LivTox en cerdos. Alquerfeed Livtox es una combinaci\u00f3n de captadores de micotoxinas y pronutrientes acondicionadores hep\u00e1ticos. Concretamente, en el ensayo presentado, el producto fue administrado a 800 cerdas con problemas reproductivos, reemplazando un producto competidor, durante la gestaci\u00f3n y lactancia. Alquerfeed Livtox permiti\u00f3 mejorar la tasa de fertilidad (+19%), reducir las repeticiones (-61,4% tiempo intervalo destete-cubrici\u00f3n), aumentar el n\u00famero de partos\/cerda\/a\u00f1o (+1), el n\u00famero de lechones nacidos vivos (+2) y su peso al destete (+9%). Alquernat Nebsui, alternativa natural al \u00f3xido de Zinc A continuaci\u00f3n, el Dr. Germ\u00e1n Berstsch, veterinario en Biovet S.A., present\u00f3 ensayos de campo usando Alquernat Nebsui como alternativa al \u00f3xido de zinc. El uso de \u00f3xido de zinc para la prevenci\u00f3n de la diarrea posdestete ya no ser\u00e1 una soluci\u00f3n para los productores de cerdos de la Uni\u00f3n Europea a partir de junio de este a\u00f1o. Alquernat Nebsui, producto natural a base de pronutrientes acondicionadores intestinales, se presenta como un sustituto natural al \u00f3xido de zinc. La eficacia de Alquernat Nebsui ha sido probado con resultados prometedores en varios ensayos en Grecia, Hungr\u00eda y Italia, entre otros. Experiencia en granja comercial con Alquermold Natural y Alquernat Nebsui El Dr. Gerardo Ricaud de M\u00e9xico explic\u00f3 en el Simposium su experiencia en una granja comercial usando Alquermold Natural y Alquernat Nebsui en cerdos. Ambos productos fueron testados en una unas de las empresas m\u00e1s grandes de Sonora (M\u00e9xico), y se evalu\u00f3 el uso de Alquernat Nebsui y Alquermold Natural para controlar un desaf\u00edo por Clostridium perfringens en sus granjas. La combinaci\u00f3n de los productos de Biovet durante el engorde les permiti\u00f3 conseguir una mortalidad del 0,77% y 0,32% de los cerdos vendidos como rezagas (98% de los cerdos alcanzaron el peso de sacrificio, aumentando los kilos de carne vendidos). El IC durante el engorde fue de 2,40 y el IC de 7 a 120 kilos de 2,33, siendo las mejores tasas de conversi\u00f3n obtenidas en el hist\u00f3rico de la granja. Uso de Alqueflav Porcino en las primeras fases de producci\u00f3n en porcicultura Para terminar este bloque, el Ing. Alexander Obando, de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Santa Mar\u00eda de Arequipa (Per\u00fa), present\u00f3 el efecto de Alquerflav Porcino en las primeras fases de producci\u00f3n. El producto se prob\u00f3 en lechones de 14 a 56 d\u00edas de edad.
