The presentation was given by veterinarian Alejandra Ruiz and the study was carried out by Biovet S.A. and INPSAS.<\/p>\n<p>In this presentation, Dr. Ruiz assessed the origin of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/producto\/alquernat-nebsui-p-and-l\/\">intestinal conditioner pronutrients<\/a><\/strong> and their <strong>mechanisms of action on genes and enterocytes<\/strong>. Afterward, she presented the results of a study carried out in broilers exposed to the antinutritional factors of soybean as feed.<\/p>\n<p>In this work, broilers were treated with antibiotic growth promoters compared to intestinal conditioner pronutrients.<\/p>\n<p>The results indicated that animals treated with pronutrients had <strong>better productive efficiency <\/strong>related to increased daily weight gain, better feed conversion ratio, and better economic performance. In addition, <strong>pronutrients improved intestinal cell morphology<\/strong> and maintained inflammation indicators at normal levels.<\/p>\n<p>In this way, the study proved that <strong>intestinal conditioner pronutrients, marketed by Biovet S.A. under the name Alquernat Nebsui<\/strong>, are an effective solution to improve productive performance in broilers even when exposed to challenges at the intestinal level.<\/p>\n<h3>Results of cimenol ring for preventing egg contamination<\/h3>\n<p>Dr. Alejandra Ruiz also presented a poster at this event on March 31 entitled &#8220;<strong>Evaluation &#8220;Efficacy of the botanic molecule Cimenol Ring to reduce egg contamination in comparison to organic acids and formaldehyde<\/strong>&#8220;. The study was carried out by professionals from the Universidad Cient\u00edfica del Sur, Per\u00fa, and the Biovet S.A. team.<\/p>\n<p>In this poster, the authors explained the problem of <strong>egg contamination in poultry farming<\/strong>. In addition, the <strong>mechanism of action of the cimenol ring, which has microbiocidal activity against pathogens in the feed and gastrointestinal tract<\/strong> and prevents microbial contamination of eggs was discussed.<\/p>\n<p>In the study, laying hens were treated with cimenol ring compared to organic acid and formaldehyde treatments which have the disadvantages of being corrosive, hazardous, and carcinogenic.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the study showed that the percentage of dirty eggs in hens treated with cimenol ring was lower, which was evidenced by lower counts of <em>Campylobacter<\/em> and <em>C. perfringens<\/em> in eggs. In addition, a lower CFU count of <em>E. coli<\/em> evaluated in hen feces was seen.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the authors concluded from the data obtained that there was a <strong>significant improvement with the use of cimenol ring to prevent dirty eggs<\/strong> and improve the productive performance of laying hens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The product of Biovet S.A.<\/strong> <strong>based on the cimenol ring presented in the trial is marketed as Alquermold Natural.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The study entitled &#8220;Effect of pronutrients on intestinal integrity and performance in broilers that receive a diet with raw soybean&#8221; was presented on April 1 as a conference.
