The award ceremony took place during the closing of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veterinariadigital.com\/en\/noticias\/biovet-held-its-32nd-international-symposium-in-tarragona-with-veterinarians-zootechnicians-and-producers-from-19-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">32 Biovet International Symposium<\/a>, held on May 27 and 28 at the Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona, Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Biovet S.A. annually gives these awards to recognize the latest developments in veterinarian and commercial actions. The prizes aim to recognize the task done by companies and people that have been involved in the research and promotion of Biovet products, in order to improve <strong>animal production and food safety<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Universidad Cient\u00edfica del Sur awarded for its trial with Alquermix<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Connie Gallardo and engineer Alfredo Palomino, representing the Universidad Cient\u00edfica del Sur, received the research award for the trial made with the <a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/aves-multifuncionales-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">multifunctional additives line in broilers<\/a>. The <em>in vivo<\/em> trial, carried out at university experimental farm, compared the efficacy of Alquermix in relation to conventional additives.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the <strong>improvement on production parameters and the biometry of the digestive organs were evaluated<\/strong>. Results showed that <strong>animals supplemented with Alquermix <\/strong>obtained <strong>better conversion rate and greater organs\u2019 efficiency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_31586\" style=\"width: 805px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31586\" class=\"wp-image-31586 size-full\" title=\"UCSUR: premio Simposio Biovet 2019\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/premio-ucsur-simposio-biovet-2019-e1564387170754.jpg\" alt=\"UCSUR: premio Simposio Biovet 2019\" width=\"795\" height=\"600\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-31586\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mrs. Montse Alam\u00f3s, Dr. Connie Gallardo and Alfredo Palomino &#8211; Universidad Cient\u00edfica del Sur, Peru<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Besides to the research on poultry, the award also recognized the work made with <strong>immuno-boosters and intestinal conditioner pronutrients<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/producto\/alquernat-inmuplus-p-and-l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alquernat Immuplus<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/producto\/alquernat-nebsui-p-and-l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alquernat Nebsui<\/a> on tilapias.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Doctor\u2019s Agrovet awarded for its outstanding commercial results<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The veterinarian Rafiul Karim representing Bovet\u2019s distributor Doctor\u2019s Agrovet, received the award for its commercial activity in Bangladesh. This prize was given to recognize the promotion and expansion of Biovet products in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_31590\" style=\"width: 788px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31590\" class=\"wp-image-31590 size-full\" title=\"Doctors Agrovet: premio Simposio Biovet 2019\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/doctors-agrovet-premio-simposio-biovet-2019-e1564387552736.jpg\" alt=\"Doctors Agrovet: Biovet award 2019\" width=\"778\" height=\"600\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-31590\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mrs. Montse Alam\u00f3s with veterinarian Rafiul Karim,representing Doctors Agrovet from Bangladesh<\/p><\/div>\n<h2><strong>INPSAS research receives the technical development award<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Finally, Dr. Alfonso Diaz and Dr. William Ruiz of INPSAS received the research award granted due to several field trials carried out with Biovet products in Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>During 2018 the Colombian company have promoted assays with Alquernat Nebsui (intestinal conditioner pronutrients) combined with the natural preservative Alquermold Natural, in order to study its effect on antibiotic growth promoters in broilers. The general manager of the company Carlos Domenech, and a representative of the Department of Agricultural, Livestock and Fishery of the Catalan regional government Montse Alam\u00f3s, were in charge of the closing ceremony.
