During the congress assays of Alquernat Nebsui and Alquernat Immuplus with Nile Tilapia and Rainbow trout were presented<\/h2>\n

The Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona host the 32nd edition of the Biovet International Symposium<\/strong>. During the first session, assays about the use of pronutrients in aquaculture<\/strong> were presented.<\/p>\n

Specifically, three conferences were addressed on the use of Alquernat Immuplus<\/strong> (natural inmunoestimulants pronutrients<\/strong><\/a>) and Alquernat Nebsui<\/strong> (intestinal conditioners pronutrients<\/a><\/strong>) with Nile tilapia and Rainbow Trout. In addition, Dr. Silvia de Lamo, of the Rovira y Virgili University (Tarragona), presented a conference focused on new microencapsulation techniques applied to the treatment of white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) in shrimp<\/strong>\u00a0(Litopenaeus vannamei<\/em>) with thyme essential oil.<\/p>\n

Use of Alquernat Nebsui in Nile tilapia<\/h3>\n

In the first talk, Ing. Alfredo Palomino, of the Cient\u00edfica del Sur University, exposed the conference \u201cProductive performance of Nile tilapia fingerlings fed with Alquernat Nebsui\u201d<\/em>. The aim of the study was to measure the improvement of the intestinal health<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0modulation of the gastrointestinal tract\u2019s microbiota. <\/strong>The results of the test revealed that the supplementation of the intestinal conditioning additive into the habitual diet in an optimal dose of 1% of total feed intake, resulted in a\u00a09% improvement in the fingerlings\u2019 feed conversion rate\u00a0(FCR) during the nursery stage.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the results of the use of intestinal conditioners pronutrients showed a better status of the intestinal morphology in the Alquernat Nebsui-treated groups.<\/p>\n

Trials with Alquernat Immuplus with Nile tilapia and Rainbow trout<\/h3>\n

The second conference was conducted by Dr. Juan B. Battaglia, of\u00a0Aquaculture Businesses & Technologies Peru S.A.C<\/strong>., in collaboration with Universidad Nacional del Callo from Peru. Dr. Battaglia exposed the conference \u201cUse of liquid Alquernat Immuplus on growth, immunity indicators and nutritional status in Nile tilapia and Rainbow trout”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This confrerence presented two trials carried out with Nile tilapia and rainbow trout fed with Alquernat Inmuplus. In the case of trout, the batch treated with Alquernat Inmuplus showed an improvement of 0.8% in the survival rate.<\/p>\n

The test performed with tilapia revealed a positive impact on the growth and productive parameters of the batch treated with Alquernat Inmuplus, a natural immunostimulant that potentiates the animal’s specific and non-specific immune system.<\/p>\n
