In November 2018, Biovet S.A. Laboratories<\/strong> visited Thailand to meet with representatives of Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group).<\/strong> The main reason of the visit to the Thai corporation was the presentation of two pronutrients: the intestinal conditioner<\/strong> <\/a>marketed as Alquernat Nebsui<\/strong> and the intestinal optimizer<\/a><\/strong>, Alquernat Zycox.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to declarations made to Veterinaria Digital by Dr. Anna Tesouro and Dr. David D\u00edez, the demonstration mostly revolved around the explanation of the characteristics of Biovet\u2019s natural additives: their mechanism of action, its positive effects on animal physiology, as well as its productivity improvement.<\/strong> Results and data obtained in previously in vitro tests conducted by Biovet R+D department \u2013 in collaboration with other research institutions and universities \u2013 were also provided.<\/p>\n

Training to Advance Pharma team, pronutrient distributors in Thailand<\/h5>\n

Parallel to the meeting with C.P.\u2019s Nutrition Technology department, Dr. Tesouro and Dr. D\u00edez held a training session<\/strong> to its distributor team in the Asian country, Advance Pharma, which belongs to one of the subdivisions of the aforementioned Thai conglomerate.<\/p>\n

The training content was intentionally designed to know and understand the range of products Biovet markets in Thailand.<\/strong> Amongst the main pronutrients taught in the session, Dr. Tesouro and Dr. D\u00edez made special emphasis, on one hand, to Biovet\u2019s natural preservative<\/strong><\/a> Alquermold Natural<\/strong>. Its bactericidal and fungicidal qualities<\/strong> are designed to avoid the proliferation of microorganisms in feed and raw materials, as well as to control the pathogenic flora of the intestine.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, special attention was also made to the applications of the mycotoxin binder<\/strong><\/a>, Alquerfeed Antitox, based on the Biovet patented molecule of Silicoglycidol<\/strong>. This pronutrient is designed to prevent and treat mycotoxicosis and related diseases, such as avian enteritis.<\/p>\n

About Charoen Pokphand Group<\/h5>\n

C.P. Group is one of the largest Thai agrifood companies specialized in the avian sector. Based in Bangkok, this group has more than 40 years of experience in poultry production and derived products to supply the local market and, since 1980s, it is also one of the main exporters of raw and cooked chicken meat. Nowadays, Japan and Europe are two of its main markets.<\/p>\n
