conducted in Antioquia region (Colombia) evaluate the effects of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/producto\/alquernat-zycox-p-and-l\/\">Alquernat Zycox<\/a>, intestinal optimizer pronutrients<\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/producto\/alquernat-nebsui-p-and-l\/\">Alquernta Nebsui<\/a> intestinal conditioner pronutrients<\/strong>, administered from day 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0to 40<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of the production cycle, on productive parameters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MATERIALS AND METHODS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Data from a total of 66.300 animals separated in two batches were analyzed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TREATMENT BATCH (35.700 animals): Pronutrients were administered at a dose of 0,5 kg\/ton of feed of each type:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Intestinal optimizer pronutrients: from day 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0to 40<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<li>Intestinal conditioner pronutrients: from day 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to 40<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>CONTROL BATCH (30.600 animals): Fed with a basal diet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>From day 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0until day 30<sup>th<\/sup>, in the TREATMENT BATCH, intestinal optimizer pronutrients were administered &#8220;ON TOP&#8221;<\/strong>, together with coccidiostats<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>From day 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0until day 40<sup>th<\/sup>,\u00a0<\/strong>both the chemical coccidiostats and antibiotic growth promoters were removed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Intestinal optimizer pronutrients were maintained in the diet as an alternative to coccidiostats, and intestinal conditioner pronutrients were added (days 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to 40<sup>th<\/sup>) as an alternative to the antibiotic growth promoters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8592 size-full\" weight<u><\/u><\/li>\n<li>Feed consumption<\/li>\n<li>% Mortality<\/li>\n<li>Feed conversion rate (FCR)<\/li>\n<li>Efficiency index (EI)<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone width=\"246\" height=\"66\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>RESULTS<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8596 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Results-pronutrients-broilers-Colombia-2018-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"648\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><em>Table 2: Productive parameters and difference of values between both two batches<\/em><\/h6>\n<p><strong>CONCLUSIONS AT THE END OF THE TRIAL<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The high cumulative mortality shown in table 2 is due to the poor initial quality of the chicks in the treatment batch, which, as shown in graph 3, produces a very unequal mortality between the two batches in the first 3 weeks of the study, which are the previous ones to the beginning of the treatment with pronutrients.<\/li>\n<li>Partial mortality since the beginning of treatment (day 21) is only 0,65% higher in the batch treated with pronutrients, considering that this batch also starts with a mortality 0,33% higher than the control.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8597 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Pronutrients-on-productive-parametres-in-broilers-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"215\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><em>Graph 3: Dynamics of mortality<\/em><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>We can conclude that the treatment with intestinal optimizer and conditioner pronutrients allows a reduction of the initial mortality and the recovery of the rhythm of growth, obtaining similar results to those of the control batch, because it obtains a minimum weight difference with a lower consumption, which results in a slightly improved feed conversion rate and efficiency (0,04 and 2,0 points respectively) in the batch treated with pronutrients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The product based on\u00a0<strong>intestinal optimizer pronutrients<\/strong>\u00a0is commercially available under the name\u00a0<strong>Alquernat Zycox<\/strong>, while the product based on\u00a0<strong>intestinal conditioner pronutrients<\/strong>\u00a0is commercially available under the name\u00a0<strong>Alquernat Nebsui<\/strong>.
