It is an event organized by the\u00a0<strong>Poultry Science Association (PSA)<\/strong>, which took place from July 23<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0to 26<sup>th<\/sup><strong>\u00a0in San Antonio, Texas (USA).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Specifically, during the conference held on July 25<sup>th<\/sup>, the results of a study carried out in 2017 at the\u00a0<strong>Universidad Cient\u00edfica del Sur, Lima (Peru) on the application of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biovet-alquermes.com\/index.php\/en\/pronutrients-poultry\/59-poultry\/pronutrients\/712-alquernat-nebsui-pronutrients-poultry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"No follow noopener\">Alquernat Nebsui<\/a>\u00a0(product made with natural extracts -pronutrients- that stimulate the gut physiology of animals)<\/strong>\u00a0to replace an AGP in broilers, through the analysis of growth performance and intestinal relative weight, as an indicator of intestinal efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>In the study, which lasted 42 days, a total of 300 broilers of 1 day participated. They were subjected to a basal diet, divided into 3 groups. The study was directed by the rector of the Universidad Cient\u00edfica del Sur, Dr. Manuel Rosemberg.<\/p>\n<p>As Dr. Pi\u00e9 explained, &#8220;the conclusions of this in vivo study highlight that both, the chickens that ingested Alquernat Nebsui and\u00a0the Antibiotic Growth Promoter, improved the Final Weight. Likewise,\u00a0<strong>Alquernat Nebsui improved the Feed Conversion Rate by 3.11%\u00a0<\/strong>(compared to the control group),<strong>\u00a0while the antibiotic improved it by 1.86%\u00a0<\/strong>(compared to the control group).<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, both the batch consumed by Alquernat Nebsui and the AGP improved the Efficiency Index. Finally,\u00a0<strong>Alquernat Nebsui achieved &#8220;a lower Relative Intestinal Weight, which is an indication of a higher organ\u2019s efficiency&#8221;<\/strong>, concluded the veterinarian.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCIENTIFIC POSTER<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Biovet S.A. also presented a scientific poster<\/strong>\u00a0at the 2018 PSA Annual Meeting, about a trial about\u00a0<strong>\u201cUse of Alquernat Nebsui in layers\u201d<\/strong>.
