Leman Swine Conferences<\/strong>\u00a0that took place from September 16th to 19th in\u00a0<strong>Minnesota<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>This time, a trial carried out at\u00a0<strong>Purdue University<\/strong>\u00a0to evaluate the effect of a\u00a0<strong>mycotoxin binder (Alquerfeed Antitox)<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0<strong>hepatorregenerative action (Alquernat Livol)<\/strong>\u00a0in pigs fed mycotoxin-contaminated diets was presented. Results showed an\u00a0<strong>improvement in the productive parameters<\/strong>, especially in feed conversion rate, and in the indicators of hepatic damage thanks to the use of the product.<\/p>\n<p>The second trial, carried out at the\u00a0<strong>University of Minnesota<\/strong>, tested\u00a0<strong>Alquermold Natural L\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0efficacy at different concentrations and exposure times on\u00a0<strong><em>Salmonella Dublin<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong><em>Clostridium perfringens<\/em><\/strong>. Results showed that the product is effective on these microorganisms, and that there is dose-effect relation.<\/p>\n<p>These two abstracts were presented in Allen D. Leman Swine Conferences, an annual event for people from the pig farming industry around the world.
