From left: Joaquim Xifra (Generalitat de Catalunya), Dr. Manuel Efrain Rosemberg, Eduardo Torres and Carlos Domenech (Biovet)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Scientific University of the South (UCSUR-Peru), Adivet (Peru) and INPSAS (Colombia) received the Biovet<\/strong>\u00a02018 Awards\u00a0in the categories of Research, Commercial Development and Technical Development, respectively. The awards ceremony was held at the closing ceremony of the XXXI International Biovet Symposium that took place in Tarragona from May 26 to 29. These awards are intended to disseminate the latest research in veterinary medicine and commercial actions related to animal health and feeding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>The Scientific University of the South (UCSUR-Peru)<\/strong>\u00a0won the prize for research, for its scientific research work related to Biovet products produced during the last year. Specifically, for the\u00a0work related to the study of infectious diseases in tilapia\u00a0and\u00a0for the trials carried out on tilapia of the product based on pronutrients\u00a0Alquernat Nebsui\u00a0and on the effect of the\u00a0preservative\u00a0Alquermold Natural\u00a0on broilers challenged with\u00a0Clostridium perfringens, in other words, on the treatment and prevention of necrotic enteritis in broilers.\u00a0The rector of the UCSUR, Dr. Manuel Efrain Rosemberg, received the award on behalf of the institution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The\u00a0manager of Adivet (Peru),<\/strong>\u00a0Hugo Pati\u00f1o, received the Commercial Development award\u00a0in recognition of his commercial and technological work, for the expansion of Biovet&#8217;s innovative products in the Peruvian market.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the<strong>\u00a0director of INPSAS (Colombia), Alfonso D\u00edaz,<\/strong>\u00a0received the award for the Technical Development of the product,\u00a0for the numerous in vivo technical analyzes carried out to evaluate the results of the natural products focused on the improvement of the physiological<strong>\u00a0parameters of the animals of farm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The award ceremony was the final culmination<\/strong>\u00a0of the\u00a0XXXI International Biovet Symposium\u00a0that took place in Tarragona.\u00a0During the conference, lectures were presented by professors and experts from several countries such as: Manuel Efrain Rosemberg and Alfredo Rub\u00e9n Palomino, from UCSUR; Hugo Ram\u00edrez (Iowa State University); Alfonso D\u00edaz and William Ruiz (INPSAS-Colombia), as well as Drs. Cristina Latasa and Maria Pe\u00f1as, from Recombina and the University of Navarra (Spain); The event also featured dissertations by the technical team of Biovet and Marta Dompablo (from the journal specialized in veterinary medicine<a href=\"http:\/\/www.veterinariadigital.com\/uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"No follow noopener\">\u00a0www.veterinariadigital.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.veterinariadigital.com\/uploads\/noticias\/Hugo-Patino-recoge-el-Premio-2018-Biovet.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Photo*:<\/strong>\u00a0The manager of Adivet (Peru), Hugo Pati\u00f1o, received the award for Business Development.
