More than a hundred agents of the agricultural sector of Bangladesh attended the Seminar\u00a0“Alternatives to feed additives: Pronutrients”,<\/strong>\u00a0which was held on April 16 – 19 in\u00a0Dhaka (Bangladesh),<\/strong>\u00a0sponsored by the manufacturing company of additives of natural origin\u00a0Biovet S.A.\u00a0and its distributor in the Asian country. Among the attendees were the main\u00a0producers and technicians\u00a0of the poultry industry in the country, feed producers, poultry companies and specialized consultants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
On the other hand, the list of participants of the seminar was filled up of members of universities, laboratory technicians of biotechnology research centers and a technical and commercial team of Biovet. Among the speakers, the following were highlighted: the\u00a0Veterinary Doctor\u00a0and spokesperson of the\u00a0Technical Department of Biovet, Elvira Cano;\u00a0Dr. in Biotechnology\u00a0and CEO of Recombina, Cristina Latasa; the\u00a0head of the Department of Poultry at the Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Dr Shubash Candra Da, and the\u00a0Economist\u00a0and Area manager of Biovet, V\u00edctor Huguet.<\/strong><\/p>\nAs summarized by Huguet:\u00a0“Due\u00a0to that the use of\u00a0Antibiotics Growth Promoters (APC)<\/strong>\u00a0has been banned\u00a0and that there is increasing awareness to avoid the use of chemical additives, companies like Biovet,\u00a0focused on natural alternatives,\u00a0always attract a\u00a0lot\u00a0of attention\u00a0in the sector. So I can conclude that the seminar has met expectations.”<\/p>\nINVESTIGATION<\/strong><\/p>\nThe seminar started with a presentation of the company Biovet where its history, philosophy, products and services offered, based on the\u00a0research lines\u00a0developed by the company, were explained. Afterwards, Drs. Cano and Latasa explained the mechanism of action of\u00a0pronutrients, a natural alternative for feeding in poultry, and showed the results of\u00a0in vitro\u00a0and\u00a0in vivo\u00a0tests of\u00a0Alquernat Nebsui\u00a0(Intestinal conditioner),\u00a0Alquernat Livol\u00a0(Hepatic regenerator) and\u00a0Alquernat Zycox\u00a0(intestinal optimizer).<\/p>\n
In addition, during the seminar the mechanism of action of the\u00a0natural preservative\u00a0Alquermold Natural\u00a0<\/a>was also presented and the results of several\u00a0in vitro\u00a0and\u00a0in vivo\u00a0tests.
