Pronutrients were the protagonists of the second and third session of the XXXI Biovet<\/strong>\u00a0International Symposium, which was held from May 26 to 29 in Tarragona, with the assistance of producers and distributors of the\u00a0poultry and pork sector, from all over the world: China, Mexico, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Romania, the United States, Peru, Guatemala, Ireland, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Bangladesh and Argentina. Specifically, the conferences were held at the Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the\u00a0two sessions focused on\u00a0<\/strong>pronutrients<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>(micro-ingredients of botanical origin), which were held on May 28th,\u00a0professors from universities and experts from several countries explained their function to improve the physiognomy of animals, through of\u00a0in-vivo\u00a0and\u00a0in-vitro\u00a0trials. These sessions dedicated to pronutrients were moderated by\u00a0Dr. Eduardo Torres.<\/p>\n

So, the\u00a0head of the Biovet technical team,\u00a0Dr. Julia Pi\u00e9,\u00a0gave a lecture on the effects of the\u00a0Alquernat Nebsui product for layers.<\/strong>\u00a0“Alquernat Nebsui contains pronutrients that act within the digestive tract, with intestinal conditioning function, so, thanks to the stimulation of regeneration and physiology, they optimize the regeneration and physiology of the digestive mucosa, inhibit the proliferation of pathogens and improve the absorption of nutrients.\u00a0Therefore,\u00a0this product replaces the Antibiotic Growth Promoters (AGPs)”, highlighted Dr. Ms. Pi\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. William Ruiz, from INPSAS-Colombia, showed the results of numerous trials carried out with the products\u00a0Alquermold Natural\u00a0(natural preservative) and\u00a0Alquernat Nebsui\u00a0(pronutrients) to replace AGPs in broiler chickens.<\/strong><\/p>\n

THIRD SESSION<\/strong>
\nDuring the third session,\u00a0Dr. Cristina Latasa, from Recombina, presented the results of a bioassay with\u00a0Alquernat Immuplus.<\/strong>\u00a0On the other hand,\u00a0Dr. Maria Pe\u00f1as, from Recombina, highlighted the mechanisms of the action of the\u00a0Alquernat Magacal.\u00a0Recombina is an expert company in the\u00a0design and development of bioassays, which provide information in the process of functional characterization of new molecules and formulations.<\/p>\n

Next,\u00a0the rector of the Scientific University of the South (UCSUR, by its initials in Spanish),\u00a0Dr. Manuel Rosemberg, emphasized the\u00a0prevention of necrotic enteritis, with the application of Alquermold Natural:\u00a0“It is a preservative, bactericide and fungicide for raw materials and compound feed, within which the action of an active principle of natural origin,\u00a0cimenol ring,\u00a0is combined with\u00a0citric acid. Its incorporation into drinking water allows the control of the main pathogenic colonizing microorganisms of the intestine, such as\u00a0Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus,\u00a0fungi and yeast\u201d.<\/p>\n

The last presentation of the day was given by\u00a0Dr. Alfonso D\u00edaz, from INPSAS-Colombia, who described\u00a0field trials of the use of\u00a0pronutrients in birds and pigs in Colombia<\/strong>. This dissertation generated far more interest among those attending when it comes to\u00a0in-vivo<\/em>\u00a0research, which highlighted the results in improving the physiognomy of the animals and, therefore, in improving the productive parametres of the farms.<\/p>\n

Once again, this international forum,\u00a0created to optimize the quality of animal feed for human consumption, concluded with successful participation. Every year,\u00a0Biovet S.A. organizes at least two international events in the countries where it sells its products. During these events, specializing in development,\u00a0Biovet S.A. exposes the innovations made in its Research and Development Department, in products related to animal nutrition.<\/strong><\/p>\n
