{"id":54729,"date":"2018-06-22T12:38:49","date_gmt":"2018-06-22T10:38:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/study-of-the-efficacy-of-alquernat-zycox-intestinal-optimizer-pronutrients-to-control-the-coccidiosis-in-broilers\/"},"modified":"2024-04-22T12:01:16","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T10:01:16","slug":"study-of-the-efficacy-of-alquernat-zycox-intestinal-optimizer-pronutrients-to-control-the-coccidiosis-in-broilers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/en\/2018\/06\/22\/study-of-the-efficacy-of-alquernat-zycox-intestinal-optimizer-pronutrients-to-control-the-coccidiosis-in-broilers\/","title":{"rendered":"Study of the efficacy of intestinal optimizer pronutrients to control the coccidiosis in broilers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/98989-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>INTRODUCTION<\/strong><br \/>\nIn Spain in 1999, the effect of\u00a0<strong>Alquernat Zycox intestinal optimizer pronutrients to control coccidiosis was evaluated in comparison with chemical coccidiostats in industrial poultry.\u00a0<\/strong>Different parameters were evaluated at the end of the productive cycle and conclusions were established on the two products.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>MATERIAL AND METHODS<\/strong><br \/>\nThis study was conducted with broilers up to 45 days of age, throughout the productive cycle, and they were divided into two batches with the two treatments:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0<strong>\u00a0\u00a0Batch 1:<\/strong>\u00a0Chemical coccidiostats: nicarbazin (0 &#8211; 14 days) + nicarbazin &#8211; narasin (15 &#8211; 28 days) + salinomycin (29 &#8211; 40 days) + no treatment (41-45 days).<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<strong>Batch 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Intestinal optimizer pronutrients (0 &#8211; 45 days).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7965 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Intestinal-optimizer-pronutrients-control-coccidiosis-Spain-1999-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"630\" height=\"416\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7967 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/biovet-alquermes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Intestinal-optimizer-pronutrients-control-coccidiosis-Spain-1999-l-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"642\" height=\"220\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>FINAL CONCLUSIONS OF THE TRIAL<\/strong><br \/>\nThere are\u00a0<strong>no significant differences between the parameters<\/strong>:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Average weight<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Daily weight gain<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Feed conversion rate<\/p>\n<p>However,<strong>\u00a0there is an important difference regarding the cumulative mortality expressed as a percentage<\/strong>, with\u00a0<strong>the best results in the group of intestinal optimizer pronutrients<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThis product based on intestinal optimizer pronutrients, manufactured by\u00a0<strong>Biovet,<\/strong>\u00a0is commercially available under the name\u00a0<strong>Alquernat Zycox.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This study was conducted with broilers up to 45 days of age, throughout the productive cycle, and they were divided into two batches.
